Introduction... Welcome to NASCAR Illustrated. As a builder of custom diecast, I'm constantly scanning the Internet for websites, pictures, and reference material to help me build my one of a kind cars. Perhaps you are too? The years that will be focused on are the years between 1973-1993. Why? Over the last few years of building diecast I found myself gravitating more and more to the cars of the seventies and eighties. I guess growing up in those two decades has made me more aware of them and have a better appreciation of them now. The early nineties were great too, but the blahs hit mid decade and have seem to be there ever since. I'm hoping with the new Nationwide series bringing back some of the old pony cars may jump start a 'new' era in stock car racing. There is a lot of great pictures, resources, and webpages to visit.
